The Chester Fritz Library has multiple spaces available for reservation on all four floors of the library. Please remember that these spaces at the Chester Fritz Library are a shared resource. If something is damaged or not working, let us know at the Ask Us Desk.

Group Study Rooms

The Chester Fritz Library has fourteen group study rooms available for reservation under the following terms:

  • Reservation time slots start every 30 minutes
  • The minimum booking time is 30 minutes
  • The maximum booking time is 3 hours
  • No one person can reserve a room for more than 9 hours per week
  • If you are unable to show up for a reservation, please cancel it as soon as possible so others can use the space
  • 300A, 300B, and 300C are reserved for UND Academic Support from 8:000AM to 5:00PM Monday to Friday

Recording Studio

The Chester Fritz Library recording studio is located on the second floor of the library. The space has both video cameras and microphones. If you would like assistance with the technology, please let us know in the booking form. The following terms apply:

  • The minimum booking time is 30 minutes
  • The maximum booking time is 4 hours

Meeting Rooms

The Chester Fritz Library has two meeting rooms that require approval for reservation from Chester Fritz Library administration and are subject to availability. The rooms are conference room 406 and the Reading Room (the Fishbowl). To reserve a meeting room, please make your request through the booking form in this reservation system. Library Administration will contact you. 

Classrooms

The Chester Fritz Library has two classrooms available for faculty, campus departments, and student organizations to reserve. The classrooms are room 108 on the first floor and 301 on the third floor. To make a reservation in either of these spaces, please contact Brian Garrison-Nguyễn.
